As part of the REFRESH project, CETMA is conducting the survey Urban furniture from end-of-life wind turbine blades: user perception and appreciation.

REFRESH is exploring recycling and repurposing strategies for end-of-life blades. An interesting repurposing opportunity involves urban furniture. There are already examples of wind turbine blades being transformed into playgrounds, pedestrian bridges, benches, and shelters.
