The REFRESH circular blade on display at the Innovation Planet in Hall 5.

The REFRESH circular wind turbine blade demonstrator was on display during JEC World 2026 in Paris on 9-11 March.

This blade section, exhibited at Innovation Planet 5 (5E148), demonstrates how thermally recycled glass fibres from decommissioned blades can be used in new blade components.

This part was developed by CETMA, leader of the REFRESH eco-design strategy, in collaboration with Gjenkraft, Cormatex and EireComposites.

REFRESH partners The European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) and Gjenkraft AS exhibited at JEC World this year, while ETAT9, Gees Recycling, and ACCIONA Construccion participated as visitors.

JEC World is the world’s leading trade show dedicated to composite materials, attracting more than 45,000 visits over the three days.
