REFRESH project coordinator RINA is giving a presentation at the 2nd Annual Wind Blade Materials and Recycling Forum in Amsterdam on 30-31 October.

Under the theme Supporting the Sustainable Decommissioning of Wind Turbine Blades, this conference will explore topics such as improving the sustainability and recyclability of wind turbine blades, end-of-life strategies for blades, and the challenges and opportunities in recycling blades.

The event will also feature panel discussions where attendees can exchange ideas and share experience.

REFRESH solution for wind blade recycling

On 31 October, REFRESH project coordinator Daniel Grisenti of RINA is teaming up with Jaime Moreno Juez of TECNALIA to provide an update on the project’s progress towards a smart, circular solution for end-of-use wind blades. The talk will include an introduction to the Blockchain Traceability Platform that TECNALIA is developing. The presentation is scheduled to take place at 3.05 pm.

REFRESH partner CIRCE is also giving a presentation about its microwave-assisted thermal and thermochemical recycling technology. Gjenkraft is a Bronze Sponsor of the event.

The 2nd Annual Wind Blade Materials and Recycling Forum is organised by Leadvent Group and expected to attract more than 150 delegates. Further information is available on the conference website.
