The next REFRESH General Assembly takes place on 21-22 January 2025, marking the 24th month of the project.

The meeting is being hosted by CETMA, leader of the project’s ‘Design for Circularity’ activities, at its research centre in Brindisi, Italy.

The General Assembly brings together the REFRESH partners to present and review the project’s progress over the past six months, and discuss the plan for the coming months.

REFRESH (Smart dismantling, sorting and REcycling of glass Fibre REinforced composite from wind power Sector through Holistic approach) commenced in January 2023 and runs for 48 months.

On the second day of the meeting, the project team will visit the Taranto plant of leading wind turbine manufacturer Vestas. This is a unique opportunity to discuss blade circularity with a key player in sustainable energy solutions.
