The REFRESH partners will gather on 12-13 May for the project’s M41 General Assembly. The meeting is being hosted by Gjenkraft in Høyanger, Norway.

On the first day the partners will review ongoing process in the project’s active Work Packages:

  • WP4: Process integration, demonstration and testing at TRL 7 – Gees Recycling, Enecolab, Gjenkraft, CIRCE;
  • WP5: Digital platform and prototype development – TECNALIA, ACCIONA;
  • WP6: Circular by design – CETMA, RINA;
  • WP7: Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation – EuCIA, RINA.

The presentations and discussions will be followed by a visit to Gjenkraft’s thermal recycling plant.

Online workshop

The second day features the project’s second stakeholder workshop. This will be held online to maximise audience participation.

The first REFRESH stakeholder workshop took place in November 2025, attracting more than 90 participants online. (Watch the recordings on YouTube.)

While the first event focused on the first part of the REFRESH value chain – blade cutting, shredding and sorting technologies, and recycling processes – the second workshop will present the project’s work on designing new products using secondary materials and the blockchain traceability platform.
