Meet REFRESH at JEC World 2026

REFRESH partners will be participating in JEC World 2026 in Paris on 10-12 March.

JEC World is the world’s leading trade show dedicated to composite materials, attracting more than 45,000 visits over the three days. This year sustainability and circularity are once again key themes at the event, making it the perfect venue to promote the REFRESH solutions for transforming decommissioned wind turbine blades into new sustainable products.

REFRESH partner the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) – leader of the REFRESH communications and dissemination activities – will exhibit on booth 6M119.

Gjenkraft AS will exhibit on booth 5D49-07 in the Circularity Village, a new exhibition zone dedicated to sustainable materials, processes, and business models. As part of REFRESH, Gjenkraft is upscaling its thermal recycling line in Norway which enables the recovery of high-quality materials from decommissioned blades.

REFRESH partners ETAT9, Gees Recycling, and ACCIONA Construccion will also be visiting the exhibition. In REFRESH, ETAT9 is developing a smart cutting technology to downsize large blades prior to repurposing or recycling, Gees Recycling is upscaling its mechanical recycling process which transforms end-of-life blades into structural panels suitable for numerous applications, and ACCIONA is exploring ways of integrating recycled wind blade materials into products for the construction sector.

And don’t miss the REFRESH circular wind turbine blade demonstrator on display at Innovation Planet 5 (5E148).

This blade section demonstrates that recycled glass fibres from decommissioned blades can be used in the manufacture of a new blade. This part was developed by CETMA, leader of the REFRESH eco-design strategy, in collaboration with Gjenkraft, Cormatex and EireComposites. (Read the press release published in January 2026.)
