REFRESH was delighted to participate in JEC Composites Talks Nordics in Oslo on 4 June.

This first JEC Composites Talks event in the Nordic region was organised by JEC in partnership with NCMT (Norwegian Circular Materials Technology), Finnish Plastics Industries Federation (FIPIF), Plastindustrien of Denmark, and Sweden’s LIGHTer strategic innovation programme. The event gathered together industry, associations and research organisations, authorities and policymakers, with the aim of stimulating knowledge sharing, networking and business opportunities.

REFRESH project coordinator Daniel Grisenti of RINA introduced the REFRESH concept with a presentation in the Case Studies session.

Representatives from the REFRESH partners Gjenkraft, the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA), ACCIONA and Gees Recycling were also present to discuss the project’s objectives and solutions for recycling and reuse of end-of-use wind turbine blades.
